Published Works: Lainey has a blog at Wordpress that has readers and subscribers from all over the world. Her blogs contain themes of self-care, grief, resiliency, self-love, breaking the cycles, love, and growth. Creatively written in a tone of wonder, hope, struggle, and acceptance, she artfully paints both personal and inspired pieces with her words. She has collaborated with other businesses such as Hello Pretty Events, Inspired By This, Oh It's Perfect, and Green Wedding Shoes to name a few. Lainey wrote some of their featured blogs that have been published on websites and in magazines. She is also hired as a ghost writer for business pages and blogs. In December of 2023, she also had the honor of writing a song for her sister's wedding which got produced and recorded for their first dance... and it’s on Spotify! She is also in the works of writing a book that’s expected to be available to purchase at the end of 2024. Journals are also in the process of being crated by Lainey. These journals help with day-to-day organization and guidance of reiki sessions, which is also a service Lainey's Light provides.
Reiki: Reiki is a type of energy healing. It is an effective practice that originated in Japan and literally translates to (rei) "higher power" and (ki) "life force energy". Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through hands. Reiki can be received and equally effective both remotely and in person. Reiki practitioners use energy through their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. It is a treatment not to replace your medical doctor's treatments, but to work complementary to your treatments. Reiki is also beneficial for your overall health, happiness, and balance. After receiving reiki, it is normal to feel relaxation, light headedness, dizziness, and sometimes nausea. Remember, your energy is being moved around, but the overall effect helps with quality of life. It is recommended to hydrate and drink plenty of water before a session.
